Vidyut Jammwal, actor and producer of ‘Crackk’, admitted to significant financial losses after the film flopped at the box office earlier this year.  Crackk, released in February, grossed approximately Rs 17 crore against a Rs 45 crore budget, marking his second consecutive underperforming film after IB17, which earned Rs 29 crore against a Rs 40 crore budget.

Despite this setback, he managed to recover within three months by implementing strategies to mitigate losses. He also joined a French circus troupe to learn from performers. He mentioned losing a significant amount of money due to Crackk’s failure. Dealing with this loss was his priority amidst the flood of advice from others who had faced similar setbacks and well-meaning friends. To regain focus, he deliberately disconnected from this advice. Following Crackk’s release, he chose to spend two weeks with a French Circus, immersing himself among their skilled performers.

Vidyut had also met a Contortionist and he finds it so impressive the way contortionists portray bodies to reach certain levels that are nearly impossible. “Oh my God, how can somebody be like this”, pronounced Vidyut.

3 months of pause and self-reflection made Vidyut feel more positive and as he did not stress about the losses and has made a game plan unrevealed, yet.

Crackk, featuring Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi and Amy Jackson received negative comments and Vidyut admitted that the theatrical cut showed the movie was slow.
