BJP leader Nitin Gadkari faints during a rally in Yavatmal

Today, during a rally for the upcoming elections in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari collapsed and needed immediate medical help. He was giving a speech when it happened. Doctors think it might be because of the heat. Medical teams at the rally took care of him right away. The event had to stop for a bit because of this. Gadkari is now in a private hospital in Yavatmal for more treatment.

Yavatmal is part of the area voting in the Lok Sabha election on April 26, along with Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Hingoli, Nanded, and Parbhani in Maharashtra. Yavatmal, located in Vidarbha, has been dealing with very hot weather lately. The weather department has warned of more heatwaves in Maharashtra from April 27 to 29.
