Pune Pulse spoke to few travel planners and found out which destinations have become the promising ones. When we say Duba, its more because of its beautiful locations, shopping festival and tall buildings. Other tham that Japan, Bali, Andaman, Hongkong, Macau, Thailand, are some of the international destinations which can be explored. While those who have limited time can go to Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujrat, Andaman, Goa, Pondicherry, Karnataka and many others.
Nishitta Ghaatge, managing director, Sun Tourism says, “Travelling is more of appreciating beauty around us. There are several groups of senior citizens who come to us to plan international travel. We have taken them to Europe, Japan, New Zealand and many other places. If one plans well the trips become cost effcetive.”
Kerala despite being affected by the floods, has become the most preferred choice of many. Neelarkunji, a flower that blooms after every 12 year has attracted many travellers. Ghatge says, “It rarely blooms. The last bloom was 12 years ago. Hence, people are choosing Kerala. And floods had devastated the state but we all collectively need to help our fellow citizens by providing them with our support by visiting God’s own Country.”
Ramesh Ghare, franchisee owner, Cox and Kings Pvt Ltd. from Pimple Saudagar says, “Travellers are looking foreward to exploring Thailand, Dubai, Andaman, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. It is the best time to travel and explore the world.”
