Wanowrie traffic officials conduct survey of ABC Farms chowk

In the previous edition of Pune Pulse, we had highlighted the plight of the residents who suffer from the chaos caused at ABC Farms chowk.

Upon requesting, Police Inspector, Rajendra Vibhandik, Wanowrie Traffic Division visited the area on Saturday January 19 and took a survey of the area to find out the problem.

Amarjeet Singh, chairman, Oxford Comforts society said, “We had requested Vibhandik to visit the area to understand the problem. He immediately agreed and met us at the ABC Farms chowk. He also issued notices to the unattended vehicles in Oxford Elegance lane, in Kedari nagar lane no. 6. We are hopeful that some solution is brought to this road to curb the traffic congestion.”

Maithili Manakwad, a resident of Windsor Avenue and member of Wanowrie Residents Forum stated that this chowk has become a bottleneck due to auto stand and indiscipline of motorists. Traffic Police must ensure that vehicles parked in No Parking Zones are picked up. Also, they must bring some solution to the increasing problem of congestion at this chowk soon.
