Silver Jubilee of Sahakar Darbar held


Pune Dist. Co-op. Housing Federation and Ganesh Residency had organised Silver Jubilee Sahakar Darbar on February 2 in Govind Garden.

 Local corporator  Shatrughna Kate presided over the function, while Sitaram Rane, Chairman, Maharashtra State Co-op. Housing Federation was the chief guest. He apprised the attendees on the latest developments in their efforts to modify the Maharashtra Co-op. Act 1960 with regards to housing societies. He told that last year the present government has accepted our suggestion and a committee was appointed to give recommendations. Rane is an active member of the said committee.

Shatrughna Kate who presided over the Sahakar Darbar remembered that he only had inaugurated the First Sahakar Darbar in Pimple Saudagar in Jan 2017. He expressed satisfaction about the way Sahakar Darbar is conducted in Ganesh Residency on the First Saturday of every month without any exception. He assured to take up infrastructure issues from the area. Subhash Dhavale Senior Director of the Pune Federation, who attended all Sahakar Darbar and guided the societies on their problems, briefly narrated his experiences from the very first Sahakar Darbar.

Subhash Dhavale, Anil Asgekar and Advocate Jyotsna Joshi were felicitated for guiding the societies and Mandar Sahaje, Chairman and Nitin Tagalpallewar Secretary of Ganesh Residency were felicitated for providing infrastructure for Sahakar Darbar.  Suhas Patwardhan Chairman of Pune Dist. Co-op. Housing Federation replied to the questions of different societies on different issues. Manisha Koshti, Secretary of Pune Federation,  Mandar Sahaje, Chairman of Ganesh residency,  Charuhas Kulkarni played an important role in arranging the event and guiding the attendees.
