New Delhi: Several schools in Delhi-NCR were targeted with bomb threats, instigating a swift response from authorities.

The threats were communicated via email, causing apprehension among students, parents, and school administrations. Among the affected institutions are Delhi Public School (Dwarka), Sanskriti School, Mother Mary’s School, Delhi Public School (Noida), and Delhi Public School (RK Puram). In response, schools have initiated precautionary measures, including sending students back home for their safety.

Law enforcement agencies, including dog squads and Delhi Police personnel, have been deployed to conduct thorough searches of the premises to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.

In May last year, the Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, received a bomb threat via email. Police declared the threat a hoax after conducting searches and finding nothing suspicious.

Initial investigations indicate a pattern in the threatening emails, with multiple recipients targeted and a lack of specific date references. The Delhi Police spokesperson has confirmed ongoing investigations into the matter, emphasizing the need for vigilance and cooperation from the public to address such security threats effectively.
