Grand Celebration of Shiv Jayanti in Kasba Peth: A Spectacle of Art and Culture to Be Experienced

In Pune Kasba Peth witnessed a grand spectacle this year as the Shiv Jayanti Utsav Samiti celebrated the occasion according to the tithi. The highlight of the event was the re-enactment of the coronation of Shri Chhatrapati Maharaj at Shri Kasba Ganpati Mandir Chowk. ”Over 100 local artists from the Kasba Peth area showcased their artistic expressions, making the festival a unique showcase of talent.”

Ambassador Vrishni Roaji from Mauritius will grace the event with his artistic presentation at Ganpati Temple on ”March 28 at 5:00 p.m.” Distinguished guests such as Pune City Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, Punit Balan, Chief Trustee of the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari  Ganpati Trust, and Pandurang Balkwade, a noted historian, along with Sadanand More, a scholar of Saint literature, will honour the event as chief guests.

The event will also receive blessings from Ganeshanand Maharaj Trimbakeshwar. The live show, directed and conceptualized by Mahesh Molavade and Sayaji Shendkar, promises to be a captivating tribute to the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, showcasing the local talent and cultural richness of the Kasba Peth community.
