The Central Election Commission has set a schedule to check the daily spending of election candidates in three areas: Maval, Pune, and Shirur. These checks aim to ensure candidates stick to spending limits during the campaign.

In the Maval area, election expenditure checks will be conducted at the Election Expenditure Management Room in Akurdi. Officials will review the spending of the candidates on three different days: May 3, May 7, and May 11. Each review will last from 10 am to 5 pm.

For candidates in the Pune constituency, spending reviews will take place at the Collector’s Office. The first of these reviews is set for May 2, with two more following on May 6 and May 10, also from 10 am to 5 pm.

In the Shirur constituency, the review schedule is similar, with the first check on May 3, the second on May 7, and the last on May 11, each from 10 am to 5 pm. This thorough scrutiny process helps maintain transparency and fairness in the election campaign spending.

Officials prepare to review candidate expenditure documents at the Pune Collector’s Office.
