More than 17 lakh voter ID cards distributed in Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency

Kavita Dwivedi, Baramati returning Officer Kavita Dwivedi has announced that 17,10,845 voter identity cards have been distributed ahead of the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections in the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency to facilitate smooth voting. 

Among the key statistics provided, it was revealed that out of 369,217 voter ID cards allocated, 287,277 have been distributed to 380 polling stations within the Baramati assembly electorate with the help of 380 staff. Similarly, in the Purandar assembly constituency, 2,51,471 out of 4,29,351 voter ID cards have been distributed across 421 polling stations, with 565 employees dedicated to the task.

Moreover, in the Indapur Vidhan Sabha electorate, 2,15,762 voter ID cards out of 3,23,541 have been disbursed across 330 polling stations, while in the Daund Vidhan Sabha constituency, 2,67,423 out of 3,04,607 voter ID cards have been handed out to 309 polling stations. Additionally, in the Bhor Vidhan Sabha constituency, a substantial 3,65,171 out of 4,07,921 voter ID cards have been distributed across 561 polling stations.

In the Khadakwasla constituency, efforts are similarly robust, with 3,23,741 out of 5,38,031 voter ID cards dispersed across 465 polling stations facilitated by 515 appointed employees.

The distribution of voter ID cards is being conducted diligently on a constituency-wise basis, with completion anticipated in the near future. Dwivedi has urged voters to cooperate with officials visiting households to distribute voter ID cards and reaffirmed the significance of voter participation in the democratic process.

Furthermore, Assistant Election Officer Rajendra Kachre has actively engaged with citizens in Hinjewadi, distributing voter identification cards and providing information about the electoral process.  Efforts are being made to get more voters to participate in the voting process in Bhor Assembly Constituency. Accordingly, voter identification cards were distributed to the voters of Blue Ridge Housing Society in Hinjewadi by Assistant Election Officer Rajendra Kachre. Encouraging voter turnout, Kachre emphasized the importance of exercising the right to vote on May 7.
