Mumbai Police detains Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui in hookah bar raid

Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui was among a few individuals detained following a raid at a hookah bar in Mumbai’s Fort area last night. A case was registered against the individuals, and they were released after questioning, as per the police. According to The Times of India, the Mumbai Police’s Social Service Branch conducted the raid at the Sabalan hookah bar in Bora Bazaar based on a tip-off.

“Our team conducted the raid upon receiving information that the patrons were using tobacco-based hookahs disguised as herbal ones,” a police officer informed the newspaper. “If it is confirmed that the accused indeed used tobacco hookah, they will face charges under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act,” the officer added.
