Nephew of Khed MLA Dilip Mohite Involved in Fatal Accident: One Dead, Another Injured

Pune: A tragic accident occurred on the Pune-Nashik highway at midnight, involving the nephew of Khed MLA Dilip Mohite. The nephew, Amar Mohite, was driving a speeding car that collided with a two-wheeler. The collision resulted in the death of 19-year-old Om Bhalerao, who was riding the two-wheeler, while another young man sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

According to police reports, Amar Mohite was driving recklessly on the wrong side of the road towards Pune when he hit the two-wheeler coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the collision was so severe that the two-wheeler was completely damaged, and the riders were thrown off to the side of the road. An FIR has been registered at the local police station, and a test is being conducted to determine whether Amar Mohite was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
