CIA School’s Pune, 9 year old star Advik Amit Agarwal has won the silver medal at the Asian Youth Chess Championship 2024. The tournament was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan from June 9 to June 21. 

Advik excelled in the Under-10 boys category, scoring 8 out of 9 in the blitz category and increased his fide rating by 130.4 points and the overall rank was 2nd. 

His victory is a testament to his gift and hard work. The Asian Youth Chess Championship is a prestigious tournament that joins the young talent Chess Championships across Asia.

This year’s edition saw the participation of the region’s top players.

Advik recent achievements: He is also a national champion of under-9 in 2023 Jamshedpur and also a runner up in national schools 2024 Patna Bihar.
