Pune : Anandvan Foundation Holds Mega Tree Plantation Drive At Reserve Forest In Wanowrie  

In a bid to restore the natural habitat near Forest Colony, the Anandvan Foundation has initiated Anandvan 7, a project aimed at planting and nurturing native plants. The foundation, in collaboration with neighboring societies and the Pune forest department, kicked off the initiative on International Forest Day. Over 350 participants, including forest officials, college and school students, neighborhood societies, and volunteers from the Anandvan Foundation, gathered to mark the occasion.

Key figures present at the event included Chief Conservator of Forest N.R. Praveen (IFS), Deputy Conservator of Forest Mahadev Mohite (IFS), Assistant Conservator of Forest Asutosh Shengde, and Range Forest Officer Suresh Varak.

Their presence underscored the importance of this collaborative effort in preserving and enhancing the local ecosystem. Anandvan 7 promises to be a significant step towards sustainable environmental stewardship in the region.
