A blood donation camp was organized by Pune Pulse and Ruby Hall Clinic in association with the Mohammadwadi-Undri Residents Welfare Development Foundation today, June 23, at Nyati Ethos in Undri. Over 50 people attended, with 32 successfully donating blood. Some attendees could not donate due to various medical reasons. 

The organizers expressed their gratitude to the Nyati Ethos committee, especially chairman Jai Mallya, for providing the venue for the event. The organisers also thanked Bliss Cafe and Bakery ,NIBM road for the delicious cookies given to each donor. 

The blood donation drive marked the first community event of the foundation. 

During a special program, residents of Undri and Mohammadwadi voiced their concerns to Sanjay Jagtap, the MLA for the Purandar constituency. Key issues included the need for increased police patrols, installation of CCTV cameras, road maintenance, power supply issues, drainage system improvements, and water supply issues.

Jagtap assured the community that safety and security measures would be prioritized, with a meeting to be scheduled soon with local police. He also mentioned that drainage work from Waterridge to Nyati Erica has been completed, and work in other societies would commence shortly. Additionally, Jagtap promised to address the other road issues with urgency.

MLA Sanjay Jagtap also donated blood at the drive.
