Students aspiring to pursue courses abroad can now breathe a sigh of relief as Savitribai Pune Phule University (SPPU) has assured that results for the ongoing semester exams will be declared by the end of June.

The university’s exam department has organized workshops for teachers across SPPU-affiliated colleges in Pune, Nashik, and Ahmednagar to ensure adherence to evaluation timelines for answer sheets. With over seven lakh students enrolled in 274 courses participating in the current semester exams, the university aims to maintain efficiency in result declaration.

A final semester management studies student, expressed her relief, highlighting the importance of timely result declaration for students planning admissions to foreign universities. The disruption caused by the pandemic in previous years had led to significant delays in exam schedules and results. However, this year, with the timely release of the annual timetable, students can better plan their academic pursuits.

Mahesh Kakade, head of the exam department, outlined the plan to conduct exams for various courses, including graduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate levels, over a span of 60 days. Exams for first-year and final-year students are currently ongoing, with the majority of important courses expected to be completed by May-end. Any remaining papers scheduled for June will also have their results released by the end of June, ensuring that students can proceed with their academic plans without unnecessary delays.
