Dr. Pooja Doshi has achieved a significant milestone with her Ayurvedic medicine for sickle cell anemia being granted an Indian patent. This accomplishment is the result of years of hard work and dedication. Dr. Doshi now aims to pursue international patent recognition for her novel formulation.

In addition to developing this innovative treatment, Dr. Doshi has successfully brought it to market in tablet form under the brand name “Haemaadhar.” This product is manufactured by Said Ved Pharma and marketed by Hritvi Pharmaceuticals. More information and purchase options are available at Haemadhaar.com.

Dr. Doshi’s work has been recognized with the Best Innovation Award 2023 by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), and the Best Product Award at the National Conference in Central University of Rajasthan, among other accolades.

Her formulation is proving effective not only for sickle cell anemia patients but also for those suffering from thalassemia, aplastic anemia, and other forms of anemia. It reduces the frequency of crises and pain while supporting an increase in hemoglobin levels and immunity.

Remarkably, Dr. Pooja Doshi herself suffers from sickle cell anemia, making her achievement even more inspiring. The Tribal Ministry, Government of India, shared her story on their Twitter handle last week on the occasion of World Sickle Cell Day.

Dr. Doshi expresses her gratitude to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and all the faculties and students for their constant encouragement and support.
