Indian karate players showcased exceptional prowess at the recent Budokon Cup held in Dubai on April 28th, leaving a remarkable imprint on the international stage. The Indian contingent, led by Secretary of the Karate Association of India, Rajneesh Chowdary, and coached by Ashok Vetal, delivered a stellar performance, clinching a total of 6 gold and 2 silver medals across various Kata and Kumite events.

Among the standout performers were Samarth Hegde and Debangana Saha, each securing two gold medals, demonstrating their exceptional skill and determination. Additionally, Rohit Kumawat and Hemant Kumawat exhibited remarkable performances, contributing significantly to the team’s success.

Acknowledgments poured in for the coaches and support staff who played pivotal roles in the team’s preparation and performance. Special gratitude was extended to Tej Pratap Sir for his dedicated coaching of Samarth Hegde, ensuring his top-notch performance and unwavering support throughout.
