Supreme Court Rejects Rakhi Sawant’s Bail Plea, Orders Surrender: Adil Khan Claims

The legal tussle between Rakhi Sawant and her former husband, Adil Khan Durrani, took a new turn as Adil Khan claimed that the Supreme Court has rejected Rakhi Sawant’s anticipatory bail plea. Adil Khan, in a video posted on his Instagram stories, stated that the court has instructed Rakhi to surrender to the Mumbai police within four weeks.

Adil Khan, who was previously married to Rakhi Sawant, asserted that the rejection of her bail plea implies that she must first serve jail time before being eligible for bail. He expressed confidence in the Indian judiciary system and emphasized that Rakhi would need to comply with the court’s directive.

According to Adil Khan, Rakhi Sawant has been residing in Dubai for the past four months to evade arrest. He claimed to have filed multiple FIRs against her and asserted that she would be arrested upon her return to India.

Adil Khan further elaborated on the legal proceedings, mentioning that Rakhi Sawant’s bail plea had been rejected by various courts, including the magistrate, sessions, and high court. He revealed that Rakhi had also applied for bail in the Supreme Court, but her application had not been addressed yet.

The marital discord between Rakhi Sawant and Adil Khan began when Rakhi leveled allegations against him, including accusations of involvement in extramarital affairs. Adil Khan was arrested on February 7, 2023, following these allegations but was later released after spending five months in jail.

Adil Khan is currently married to Somi Khan, known for her appearance on Bigg Boss 12.
