Tragic Drowning: Two-Year-Old Prince Loses Life As He Drowns In Uncovered Water Tank In Loni Kalbhor 

A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Loni Kalbhor as two-year-old Prince Chandrakumar Koshale lost his life after falling into an uncovered water tank. The tragedy occurred in the vicinity of Raiwadi Road during the construction of Ganesh Khedekar’s house.

Prince’s parents, who work as construction workers, were on-site when the mishap transpired. According to police reports, the underground water tank, left uncovered, became a deadly hazard for the toddler. Despite efforts to rescue him, Prince drowned in the tank.

“The incident occurred due to negligence, leading to the tragic loss of young Prince,” stated Police employee Vijay Jadhav, who complained to the Loni Kalbhor police station. Authorities swiftly took action by registering a case against the contractor responsible for the construction, identified as Bapu Shivram Mane. Mane, residing in Sathe Vasti, now faces legal proceedings for his alleged negligence in ensuring the safety of the construction site.

“We are deeply saddened by this unfortunate incident. The police have assured that investigations are currently underway, led by Police Sub-Inspector Hanumant Tarte,” said the authorities. The community is grieving the loss of the young Prince and has emphasized the vital need to implement safety measures at construction sites to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.
