Indian Railways, boasting the world’s largest rail network, witnesses thousands of passengers commuting daily. Adhering to the organization’s strict rules and regulations is imperative for all travelers.

Recently, reports surfaced online regarding multiple individuals apprehended by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) for ticketless travel on the Bhagalpur Express. These individuals now face consequences enforced by authorities.

Inspector Arvind Kumar Singh, alongside the Chief Traffic Inspector of the Commerce Department, took action against 21 passengers found without tickets in the AC coach of the Bhagalpur Danapur Intercity Express (train number 13402) during a routine check at Kiul station.

Following the inspection, Inspector Arvind Kumar Singh and a team of Ticket Checking Staff (TTE) detained the unauthorized passengers and initiated necessary measures against them. These individuals were caught occupying seats in the air-conditioned coaches without valid tickets.

The Ticket Checking Staff (TTE) apprehended 21 individuals, imposing a total fine of Rs. 10,625 on them.

A viral video captured the incident, showing RPF officials escorting the ticketless passengers off the train for further action.

In the footage, the railway authorities can be seen leading 21 unauthorized passengers away. Some individuals attempted to conceal their identities as media personnel attempted to document the scene. Additionally, the video captured one arrested individual preventing media coverage.

Another recent incident garnered attention when a ticketless woman occupied a reserved seat on a train. Despite admitting to traveling without a ticket, she adamantly refused to vacate her seat, engaging in arguments with other passengers.
