During the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, several Bengalureans were treated to free Benne Dosa and Ghee Laddu at Nisarga Grand Hotel on Nrupathunga Road after casting their votes. The initiative aimed to incentivize voter participation, drawing attention on social media platforms.

Apart from the two offers, voters can also enjoy a mug of beer at a resto-pub in Dellandur, Deck of Brews for free. There are other discounts as well for voters at the restaurant.

To avail of the offer, voters were required to present their inked fingers and voter ID cards at the hotel. Long queues were observed outside the hotel as people eagerly awaited their free meals, showcasing the popularity of the initiative.

Additionally, senior citizens and differently-abled voters were offered free rides by Rapido on polling day. Moreover, Deck of Brews, a resto-pub in Dellandur, went a step further by offering voters a complimentary mug of beer. Other restaurants in the city also provided discounts and special offers to voters.

Prafulla Raya, the owner of Deck of Brews, expressed that the primary objective behind offering these incentives was to acknowledge and reward individuals for their contribution to the nation’s democratic process.
