A peculiar video has taken the internet by storm, showing a vendor preparing an unusual snack: ‘Gulab Pakoda’. The Instagram video, posted by a food page, starts with the vendor dipping an entire rose flower into gram flour batter, coating it thoroughly, and then deep-frying it. Using his hands instead of a spatula, the vendor carefully removes the fried rose pakoda from the hot oil.

The video has quickly gone viral, eliciting a wide range of reactions from viewers. Many have expressed concerns about the hygiene standards of the vendor’s cart.

One user commented, “Someone please donate clean utensils & gloves to these people. They need to learn proper food handling. Such videos bring disgrace to our country.”

Another remarked, “Yuck, deep-fried rose? No thanks.”

A user joked, “Valentine’s special.” Another suggested, “Money plant ke patton ke pakode bhi bana kar dekho. [You should also try making fritters using money plant leaves].”

While the concept of crispy pakodas is beloved by many, the idea of using whole flowers has left viewers both amused and perplexed. This unique twist on a classic snack continues to generate buzz, with the internet split between fascination and skepticism over this bizarre culinary creation.
