46 Hyundai vehicles sold illegally from Showroom in Pune

Pune : Brand new 46 Hyundai vehicles were  allegedly sold illegally by the showroom manager by issuing illegal gate passes at the Ambegaon based showroom, said police.

As per the information shared by the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station, a manager from Ambegaon Hyundai showroom allegedly sold 46 Hyundai cars illegally since last six months by allegedly issuing illegal gate passes. Police told process of calculation of financial loss is underway.

Senior Police Inspector Vijay Kumbhar told that, suspected persons was working with showroom from a long time, he had gained confidence from his seniors and co worker and after getting confidence he sold one by one 46 vehicles without any permission.’’

Vijay Kumbhar further told that, we have initiated a search operation of suspects in this case and registered under relevant sections of the IPC.

According to Police, accused Sai Pravin resident of Dhayari had allegedly sold 46 vehicles meant for the Defense department to the civilians at discounted price and accepted payment on his personal account instead of showroom’s account. Accused also submitted two fake cheques by the name of CSDP Khadki in the showroom. The incident happened between 13 May 2021 to 17 December 2022.
