Pune: Nine organizations working towards environmental conservation, hill conservation and tree plantation had organized an exhibition from June 4 to 6, 2023, at Balgandharva Art Gallery, Pune.

Speaking about the exhibition, Atul Wagh, a trustee of the exhibition and member of Green Hills Group said, “Since the last 22 years, Green Hills Group has been raising awareness for environment conservation and tree plantation. We have planted around 27, 000 trees at these locations. Hence, we realized that working collectively with other like-minded organizations will be  beneficial. Hence, we invited other institutions to showcase their work in this exhibition by providing them with free stalls. In this way, we can learn from each other and chalk out ways to save the environment. Many people are clueless regarding how they can contribute towards conservation. So, this is the right place to be for them.”

“Institutions from various areas in Pune like Baner, Pashan, Warje etc have participated in the exhibition. There are around 22 hills in the vicinity of Pune. Thus, people from these areas or any other areas can approach them for environment-related work,” he added.

Various notable environmental organizations like Green Hills Group, Root Skills, Vanudyan Samvardhan va Seva Sanstha, Lions Club, 51A Organisation, Green Sunrise Hills, Khilemukta Zaade, National Society of Clean City and Do Save Foundation have participated in this unique exhibition.
