The threat was detected around 5:30 AM when the flight was preparing to depart. Passengers were promptly evacuated using the emergency exits, and the aircraft was moved to an isolation bay for inspection by an aviation security team and a bomb disposal squad.
The IndiGo crew discovered a note with the word “bomb” written on it in the aircraft’s lavatory, which triggered the alert. Authorities are treating the threat seriously and are following all necessary security protocols to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
As of now, all passengers have been safely evacuated, and no injuries have been reported.
