ABVP protested nationwide and demanded a high-level inquiry, while activists in Pune staged a protest outside Fergusson College against the NTA administration.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been targeted by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) across the country over flaws in the NEET exam results, which are necessary for medical admissions. The ABVP staged violent protests against the NTA management in front of Pune’s Fergusson College.

Recently, the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) results were released, revealing that 67 students achieved a flawless score of 720 out of 720. The fact that many of these high scores came from the same testing centre indicates misconduct and compromises the future of millions of devout, hard-working kids.

The ABVP roared ‘NTA hame padhne do, desh ko aage badhne do

For medical admissions, millions of students put forth endless effort to attempt the NEET test. These findings, however, point to a large financial transaction and skewed results that unfairly disadvantage honest and deserving students from ordinary families.

Harshvardhan Harpude asked that the national government reveal the updated NEET results as soon as possible, along with a thorough investigation into the NTA and harsh punishment for anyone found guilty. Protesters strongly objected to the corruption and threatened to launch more widespread demonstrations if their demands were not satisfied shortly. Many ABVP members and NEET aspirants took part in the demonstration.
