A metro station of Pune Mahametro in Nashik Phata has been mistakenly named as Bhosari. The suburb of Bhosari is five kilometers away from this metro station. Due to this, the passengers are confused and need further clarification. Hence, the Rotary Club of Dynamic Bhosari has demanded that Metro management should change the name of Bhosari to Nashikphata at all places. Otherwise, they will protest.

Dr Ashok Kumar Pagaria, the founder and resident of the Rotary Club of Dynamic Bhosari, and another official, Dnyaneshwar Vidhate, had a discussion about this with Rajesh Dwivedi, the Executive Director of Metro for Operations and Maintenance. He has notified higher management about this and said action will be taken as per their orders.

In the meantime, the Metro administration has received a letter from Dr Pagaria via email. In the letter, he said that because the station is named incorrectly, travellers arriving from outside are confused. In Nashik Phata, three different kinds of stations have three different names. The bus stop is called Nashik Phata, the metro station is called Bhosari, and the railway station is called Kasarwadi. Therefore, clarity is essential for everyone for efficient travelling. The present Bhosari metro station should be renamed Nashik Phata by the metro management, stated the Rotary Club.
