Veteran actor Anil Kapoor will step in as the new host, replacing Salman Khan. This marks Anil Kapoor’s debut as a host.
In a recent promo released by the show’s creators, a man in red shoes walks confidently, with nostalgic clips from previous seasons playing intermittently. Anil Kapoor is revealed as the man, breaking the sequence with a sharp whistle and exclaiming, “Kursi manga re… (bring the chair).” The promo transitions with a voiceover saying, “Kuch karte hai na jhakaas,” to which Kapoor responds, “Bahaut hogaya re jhakaas, karte hain na kuch aur khaas.” The teaser ends by announcing that the show will stream in June, though the exact premiere date remains unspecified.
The official Instagram handle of Jio Cinema shared the first promo, captioned, “A new host for the new season of Bigg Boss OTT. Aur Bigg Boss ki tarha, inki awaaz hi kaafi hai. P.S. – No prizes for guessing #BiggBossOTT3 coming this June on JioCinema Premium.”
The hosting duties for Bigg Boss OTT have shifted across seasons, with Karan Johar hosting the first season and Salman Khan the second. The third season was initially set to premiere in May but was delayed by a month, causing Salman Khan to step down due to scheduling conflicts.
With the new season starting in June, excitement is building as Anil Kapoor prepares to bring his unique charm to the show. Reports also suggest that popular stars like Shivangi Joshi and Shafaq Naaz are being considered for entry into the Bigg Boss OTT house.
