Car Tire Burst Leads to Fatal Accident Near Indapur, 5 Dead on the Spot
A speeding car lost control and plunged into a roadside drainage pit, resulting in the deaths of five individuals and one serious injury.

In a tragic incident on the Pune-Solapur highway, five individuals lost their lives and one was seriously injured. The accident occurred after a speeding car they were traveling in plunged into a roadside drainage pit. The accident occurred around 3 pm near Dalaj No 2 village in Indapur tehsil.
According to police reports, the group of six people from NarayanKhed in Telangana was traveling to Hyderabad. Those killed were the residents of Telangana and were in Maharashtra for an outing in Mumbai. According to police, they were returning to their home state, when the accident happened on Tuesday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses reported that the car toppled at least three to four times after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The sub-divisional police officer of Baramati Division, stated, “As of now it is difficult to say the exact reason behind the accident. But the driver lost control, and the car overturned and went into a trench along the roadside before hitting a pillar.”
Following the incident, a team of highway traffic police and local police rushed to the scene. The injured individual was immediately shifted to the Government Hospital in Bhigwan and later referred to a private hospital due to the severity of their condition.
Authorities are currently in the process of contacting the families of the deceased. A detailed investigation is underway, and a case will be filed upon its completion.
