Date: June 22, 2024

Pune: The window for students to post grievances related to the provisional merit list for admissions to the first year of junior colleges (FYJC) closed on Friday. The state’s centralized online admission process committee has announced that the final general allotment list will be published on June 27. Students can confirm their admissions for the first round between June 27 and July 1.

The initial round of quota admissions, including in-house and management quotas, also concluded on Friday. Colleges have been instructed to display their quota vacancies and submit details of any unfilled seats to the centralized admission process if they choose not to proceed with a second round of quota admissions.

Rajendra Ahire, the deputy director of education for the Pune division stated, “The first round of quota admissions is over. Colleges were instructed to prepare a merit list, and students were advised to confirm their admissions between June 18 and 21.”

During the period from June 18 to 21, designated for checking the status of applications in the provisional merit list, no grievances or corrections were reported. This smooth completion paves the way for the final general allotment list and subsequent admission confirmations starting on June 27.
