Aakash Dharmadhikari, the co-founder of the AI platform Realfast, is moving back to Bengaluru from Singapore. His reason? To give his family, particularly his daughter, a taste of life’s unpredictability.

Dharmadhikari announced his decision on social media platform X, expressing that life in Singapore had become too perfect. “Partly we are shifting to Bangalore to get my daughter used to the uncertainties of life. Singapore is just way too perfect, and we thought it’s making her soft,” he stated.

After living in Singapore for seven years, Dharmadhikari realized that his family had grown too accustomed to the city’s orderly nature. He humorously noted, “Unfortunately we also had forgotten what the Indian chaos feels like… turns out we have also become soft.”

Dharmadhikari’s professional journey began in 2005 as a software engineer with Infosys in Bengaluru. Over nearly two decades, he has held various roles in the tech industry, moving to Singapore in 2017. Despite the benefits of Singapore’s organized environment, Dharmadhikari believes that the challenges of life in India will be more beneficial for his daughter’s upbringing.

This move raises a broader question: is it better to live in a perfectly ordered society, or to face the messiness of life head-on? While some might argue that the stability of Singapore offers a better quality of life, Dharmadhikari’s decision suggests that facing life’s unpredictability can build resilience and strength.
