The State Examination Council has recently announced the final results for the Class 5 and Class 8 on Tuesday, 2nd July. This year, a total of 31,394 students have qualified for these scholarships.  Nandkumar Bedse, Chairman of the Examination Council, provided this information.

The examinations for Class 5 and Class 8 scholarships were held on 18th February 2024, with the provisional interim results declared on 30th April. Students and teachers eagerly awaited the final merit list of scholarship holders, which was made available online through the council’s website after 4 pm on 2nd July. To access their marksheets, scholarship recipients need to fill in their bank account and Aadhaar number details. Printed marksheets will also be distributed to the respective schools.

The detailed statistics reveal that out of 492,373 students who appeared for the 5th Class exam, 16,691 students qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 24.91%. Similarly, out of 368,543 students who took the 8th Class exam, 14,703 students secured scholarships, with a pass percentage of 15.23%.
