Amol Kolhe, MP of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Sharad Pawar faction, has been entrusted with a significant responsibility by the party. He has been appointed as the Chief Whip in Parliament. Kolhe shared this information through a social media post.

In his post, MP Amol Kolhe expressed his gratitude and surprise, saying, “No one could have imagined that a boy from an ordinary farmer’s family would one day become the Deputy Leader of the party and Chief Whip in the Lok Sabha. This has been made possible by the inclusive policies of the respected Pawar Saheb and our Nationalist Congress Party, Sharad Pawar faction.”

“I am aware of the significant responsibility that comes with this role. The strength to bear this responsibility comes from the blessings and good wishes of the people of my Shirur Lok Sabha constituency, which is a matter of great importance to me.”

Kolhe further stated, “Having my nameplate in the highest temple of democracy is not just an honor for me but also for the people of the Shirur Lok Sabha constituency and the hardworking farmers and laborers of Maharashtra. I extend my heartfelt thanks to respected Sharadchandraji Pawar, MP Supriyatai Sule, and all my colleagues in Parliament for placing this trust in me.”

MP Amol Kolhe has been elected from the Shirur Lok Sabha constituency for the second time. He defeated Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil of the NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) to secure his position. The NCP Sharad Pawar faction has nine MPs, and Amol Kolhe has been appointed as the Chief Whip.
