North Indian community in Pimpri Chinchwad celebrates Holi Milan and Women’s day

Pimpri: North Indian community in Pimpri Chinchwad city came together to celebrate Holi Milan and Women’s Day with great enthusiasm. The cultural ceremony, organized by the Shri Gupta and Jaiswal All India Foundation, Hanuman Mitra Mandal at Kalbhornagar, brought together the Gupta family scattered all over the state of North India.

Various programs were organized on the occasion of Women’s Day, and attendees enjoyed songs, dances, games, and food. The women donned pink attire, while the men sported attractive saffron feta, adding to the festive spirit. Women and children to performed on stage.

Attractive prizes were distributed to women and girls who participated in musical chair, dance, and other competitions. The organizers, including Vijay Gupta, Jitendra Gupta, Devanand Gupta, Vakil Gupta, Umashankar Gupta, and Ashok Gupta, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.

“Holi is a festival of colours in which everyone from children to old people participate and celebrate this day together with joy. All festivals are enjoyed in brotherhood without any discrimination. A North Indian brother in Pimpri Chinchwad city suffered a lot due to Corona. A program called ‘Holy Milan’ was organized to bring them out of it. Affection and closeness towards each other are important to build them up,” said Vijay Gupta, one of the organizers.

The event also marked the launch of an initiative by the Shri Gupta and Jaiswal All India Foundation to conduct community marriage ceremonies and other social activities for the society.
