Palkhi In Pune: Facebook Dindi Celebrates 14th Year Of Virtual Pandharpur Wari

This year marks the 339th year of the Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palanquin procession and the 14th year of our Facebook Dindi.

Facebook Dindi consistently brings new initiatives with a vision of preserving social responsibility along with photos, videos, and live updates of the Palanquin procession for the e-pilgrims of Pandharpur Wari.

This year, Team Facebook Dindi, through the “Tradition of Wari” campaign, will engage in dialogues on various topics such as the history of Wari, the tradition of the Palanquin procession, the music of Wari, and the planning involved in Wari, with some child artists and dignitaries.

Youth kirtankar and scholar of saint literature, Sachin Maharaj Pawar, will converse with guests in these discussions. The child artists from the soon-to-be-released movie “Sant Dnyaneshwar’s Muktai,” including Manas Bedekar, Ishmita Joshi, Sahil Dharmadhikari, and Abhir Gore, along with renowned writer-director Mr. Digpal Lanjekar, famous singer and music composer Mr. Avadhoot Gandhi, former chief and kirtankar of Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palanquin procession Mr. Bapusaheb Dehukar, chopadar of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palanquin procession Mr. Ramchandra Randhwe, and editor and journalist Mr. Shrirang Gaikwad, will participate.

Additionally, after a wait of two years, Facebook Dindi’s new song “Eka Eka Vaishnavane Hoto Pandurang Pura” will soon be released.
