Palkhi in Pune: Traffic Diverted for Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Processions in PCMC

Sant Tukaram Maharaj and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Procession Starting from Friday (28th)

The Sant Tukaram Maharaj and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Procession will commence from Friday (28th) in Pimpri. It is anticipated that there will be more devotees participating in the procession this year compared to previous years.

In light of this, traffic regulations have been altered in various traffic divisions of Pimpri-Chinchwad, including Talwade, Dehu Road, Dighi Alandi, Nigdi, and Bhosari.

Traffic Changes in Talwade Division

1. Closed Road – The road from Dehu Gaon Kaman (Old Mumbai-Pune Highway) to Parandwal Chowk (Dehu Gaon) will be closed to all types of vehicles.
– Alternative Route – Bhakti Shakti Chowk to Triveni Nagar to Talwade Gaothan to Canbay Chowk to Khandelwal Chowk Dehu Gaon.

2. Closed Road – The road from Talwade Gaothan Chowk to Canbay Chowk to Mahindra Circle will be closed to all heavy vehicles.
– Alternative Route – Vehicles should take Moshi Bharatmata Chowk and Nashik Highway to their desired destination.

3. Closed Road – The road from Dehu Phata on Talegaon-Chakan Road to Dehu Gaon will be closed to all heavy vehicles.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles should take HP Chowk to their destination.

4. Closed Road – The road from Parandwal Chowk to Dehu Kaman Chowk to Khandelwal Chowk will be closed to all vehicles except VIP vehicles. The road from Dehu Kaman to Choda Talkari Kaman to Bhairavnath Chowk will be closed to all types of vehicles.

Traffic Changes in Dehu Road Division

1. Closed Road – All types of vehicles are banned from Central Chowk on the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway to Dehu Kaman.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles should take Central Chowk – Mamurdi – Kiwale – Bhumkar Chowk – Dange Chowk route to reach their destination.

Traffic Changes in Dighi Alandi Division

1.Closed Road – Vehicles coming from Chimbli Phata Chowk, Chakan towards Alandi, and from Alandi Phata-Chakan towards Alandi will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles should take Jay Ganesh Samrajya Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk, and through Bhosari Chowk to Magazine Chowk.

2. Closed Road – Vehicles coming from Chakan-Wadgaon-Ghenand Shel-Pimpalgaon towards Alandi will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles should take Koyali Kaman, Koyali Markal Gaon route.

3. Closed Road – Vehicles coming from Markal via Dhanore Phata towards Alandi will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles should take Dhanore Phata – Charholi Phata – Magazine Chowk / Alankapuram Chowk route.

4. Closed Road – Vehicles coming from Bharatmata Chowk, Moshi, and Moshi Chowk towards Alandi will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles should take Jay Ganesh Samrajya Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk, Bhosari Chowk to Magazine Chowk, and Moshi-Chakan-Shikrapur route.

5. Closed Road – Vehicles coming from Pune-Dighi Magazine Chowk towards Alandi will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles should take Bhosari-Moshi-Chakan, Charholi Phata-Koyali, Shel-Pimpalgaon and Alankapuram-Jay Ganesh Samrajya Chowk route.

Closed Routes

– All vehicles from Pune towards Alandi will not be allowed beyond Charholi Phata Chowk.
– All vehicles from Moshi towards Alandi will not be allowed beyond Dudulgaon Toll Naka.
– All vehicles from Chimbli towards Alandi will not be allowed beyond Kelgaon Chowk / Bapdev Chowk.
– All vehicles from Chakan towards Alandi will not be allowed beyond Indrayani Hospital.
– All vehicles from Wadgaon Ghenand towards Alandi will not be allowed beyond Vishrantwadi.
– All vehicles from Markal towards Alandi will not be allowed beyond Dhanori Phata / PCS Chowk.

These traffic changes will be effective from Tuesday (25th) 12 PM until Sunday (30th) 9 PM, or until traffic normalizes (except for emergency service vehicles).

Traffic Changes in Nigdi Division

1. Closed Road – Traffic from Mumbai towards Bhakti Shakti Chowk will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles should take Kachghar Chowk to Bijli Nagar Chowk via Dange Chowk towards Pune and other destinations.

2. Closed Road – Traffic from Khandoba Mal Chowk towards Tilak Chowk will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will be diverted via Thermax Chowk or Chinchwad.

3. Closed Road – Traffic from Rupinagar towards Bhakti Shakti Chowk will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Chicken Chowk route via Chakan.

4. Closed Road – Traffic from Durga Mata Chowk to Tilak Chowk will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Talwade Road via Chakan towards Mumbai.

5. Closed Road – Traffic from Kachghar Chowk towards Savli Hotel and Bhakti Shakti Chowk will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Bhel Chowk route.

6. Closed Road – Traffic from Lokmanya Hospital to Tilak Chowk will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Mhalasakant Chowk route towards Khandoba Mal Chowk.

7. Closed Road during Palkhi Stay – Traffic from Mhalasakant Chowk to Akurdi Gaothan Khandoba Mal will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Tilak Chowk route.

8. Closed Road during Palkhi Stay – Traffic from Deepjyoti Apartment Akurdi towards Palkhi Stay will not be allowed and will be directed towards Mhalasakant Chowk.

9. Closed Road during Palkhi Stay – Traffic from Viveknagar Vegetable Market Akurdi towards Palkhi Stay will not be allowed and will be directed towards Mhalasakant Chowk.

10. Closed Road during Palkhi Stay – Traffic from Hanuman Temple Akurdi towards Palkhi Stay will not be allowed and will be directed towards Mhalasakant Chowk.

11. Closed Road during Palkhi Stay – Traffic from Siddheshwar Classic Apartment Akurdi towards Palkhi Stay will not be allowed and will be directed towards Mhalasakant Chowk.

12. Closed Road – Traffic from Kalbhornagar to Bhakti Shakti Chowk will be directed through Grade Separator. Vehicles from Bijli Nagar Chowk will not be allowed towards Bhakti Shakti Chowk and will be directed through Ravet towards Mumbai.

13. Closed Road – Traffic from Thermax Chowk to Khandoba Mal Chowk will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Garware Company and Khadi Machine route towards Parshuram Chowk.

14. Closed Road – Traffic from Appu Ghar Chowk to Bhakti Shakti Chowk will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Big India Bhel Chowk route to their desired destination.

These changes will be effective from Friday (28th) midnight to Sunday (30th) 6 PM, or until traffic normalizes, with exceptions for emergency service vehicles.

Traffic Changes in Bhosari Division

1. Closed Road – Traffic from Havaldar Vasti (Y Junction) to Moshi Chowk will be restricted to one-way from June 27th to 30th. The road from Moshi to Havaldar Vasti will be closed to all vehicles.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Bharat Mata Chowk to Havaldar Vasti.

2. Closed Road – Heavy vehicles from Moshi Bharat Mata Chowk to Y Junction will be restricted from June 27th to 30th.

3. Closed Road – Heavy vehicles from Bhosari Panjarapol Chowk to Alankapuram Chowk will be restricted from June 30th 4 AM to 10 PM.
– **Alternative Route** – Heavy vehicles will take Panjarapol Chowk to Bhosari Bridge – JRD Tata Bridge to Kokne Chowk – Jagtap Dairy Chowk route.

These changes will be effective from June 27th 6 AM to June 30th 10 PM, or until traffic normalizes, with exceptions for emergency service vehicles.

Traffic Changes in Chinchwad Division

1. Closed Road – Traffic from Bijli Nagar to Bhakti Shakti Chowk will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Bijli Nagar Chowk via DY Patil College route to Ravet towards Mumbai or Dange Chowk towards Thergaon.

2. Closed Road – Traffic from Dalvinagar to Khandoba Mal Chowk and Dalvinagar to Chinchwad will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Bijli Nagar Chowk route to their destination.

Closed Road – Traffic from Vallabhnagar to Khandoba Mal Chowk and Vallabhnagar to Chinchwad will be closed.
– **Alternative Route** – Vehicles will take Nilu Phule Nagar Chowk to Kalbhornagar route.

These changes will be effective from June 30th 3 AM to 6 PM, or until traffic normalizes, with exceptions for emergency service vehicles.
