According to the Reddit user, the journey began routinely until they encountered a family. The family attempted to occupy seats without proper tickets. They claimed to have express tickets and sought leniency by highlighting the presence of female members. Unmoved by their excuses, the user insisted that they disembark before the train departed.
The vigilant passenger’s mission continued as they encountered another couple travelling without tickets. Once again, he ensured their removal from the train. Determined to address the issue systematically, he reported the incidents to Rail Madad. The Reddit user also provided negative feedback regarding the prevalence of ticketless travel.
The situation culminated at Kharagpur station, where a group of Ticket Checking Staff (TTEs) boarded the compartment. Acting on the report, they fined all ticketless passengers, including the previously ejected couple. They also emphasized the repercussions of travelling without valid tickets.
Reflecting on the experience, the user expressed satisfaction in addressing a persistent problem, stating, “It was a good day making small things right which have been way too wrong for some time now.”
