Pi Day celebration held in Ramanbag school

In an enthusiastic celebration, Ramanbaug School observed “Pi Day” on 14 March, The event was graced by chief guest Ravindra Acharya who inaugurated a rope ladder that was launched during the program.

The celebration began with a melodious math song “Karu Gunanchi Berij Vaja Karu Avgun” presented by students of the school’s music department under the guidance of their teacher Harshad Gadgil. The program also featured an offline math quiz, in which students participated with great enthusiasm.

During his address, Ravindra Acharya emphasized the importance of developing observational abilities and reasoning skills in students. The winners of the math quiz were felicitated with prizes.

As part of the event, an informative booklet for mathematicians was launched by the school’s Head of Mathematics Department, Angha Kakatkar. The program was moderated by students Shriyash Rashinkar, Yash Shelar, Atharv Kate, Radheya Dingre, Sairaj Dhamdhere, and Laukik Surve, under the guidance of Supervisor Dilip Rawde and Yogesh Paddune.

The program was a grand success and was attended by all the teachers, non-teaching staff, and students of Raman Bagh School. It was a great initiative to celebrate the importance of math and reasoning skills in students.
