Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to Urgently Fill 56 Vacant Positions for 'Breeding Checkers' for Dengue, Chikungunya, and Environmental Management
Under the National Vector-Borne Disease Control Program, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) will fill 56 vacant positions for ‘Breeding Checkers’ to manage dengue, chikungunya, and environmental management. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply between July 3 and July 11, 2024, as announced by Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh.
With the onset of the monsoon, the likelihood of mosquito and insect breeding increases, leading to diseases such as dengue and chikungunya. To implement various preventive measures, the recruitment of ‘Breeding Checkers’ will take place. The 56 vacant positions are spread across eight hospitals: Akurdi Hospital, Yamunanagar Hospital, Bhosari Hospital, Y.C.M Hospital, Sangvi Hospital, Talera Hospital, Jijamata Hospital, and Thergaon Hospital. Applications for these positions are to be submitted offline, as informed by Health Medical Officer Dr. Laxman Gofane.
Applications should be submitted in person between July 3 and July 11, 2024, from 10 AM to 5 PM (excluding holidays) at the main administrative building of the PCMC, second floor, Medical Department, Inward-Outward Section.
Candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of 10th grade pass and be between 18 and 43 years of age. Along with the application, candidates must submit proof of age, degree or diploma certificates, final year mark sheet, work experience certificates from government or private institutions, proof of residence, and a recent passport-sized photo.
