Pune: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has appealed to citizens to pay their property taxes soon. It has warned that failure to pay the property tax will result in 2% late fee charges & the property will be confiscated.
As per information from the X handle of PCMC, ‘Appeal of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal
Corporation to taxpayers!! Avoid the sting of 2% late fees and confiscation by paying your remaining property taxes today.’
The tweet further states, ‘The Pimpri Chinchwad city is expanding rapidly. The taxpayers are paying property taxes. The rate by which the city is expanding is as much as 10%. For better roads, infrastructure etc, the PCMC is working day in – day out. Citizens are genuinely paying property tax but the number of tax defaulters, late taxpayers etc is increasing frequently. The PCMC is constantly appealing to the late taxpayers to pay full property tax. You, as a responsible taxpayer, can also urge any late taxpayers you know to pay their property tax for the betterment of the city. The PCMC has begun the action of property confiscation for tax defaulters, late taxpayers, etc.’
The PCMC is urging all defaulters, non-taxpayers, late-taxpayers, etc to kindly pay complete property tax immediately.
