Stalls near Bhushi Dam have been demolished by enforcement authorities due to reports of illegal food item sales.

Following the Bhushi Dam incident, strict actions ordered by the Chief Minister have spurred administrative vigilance.In response to CM’s directive, unauthorised encroachments around tourist spots in Lonavala are being cleared within 24 hours.

Curbs on tourist movement after 6 pm at Lions Point, Tiger Point, and Shivling Point implemented; violators face penalties. Several waterfalls in Lonavala have restrictions imposed until August 31 to prevent future incidents like those involving the Ansari and Sayyed families.
