In Pune, under the Warje Karvenagar Zonal Office, a significant action has been taken against Ujwal Kumar Sanil Bakshi for running an unregistered piles treatment center. This operation was conducted at Karvenagar, Kakade Plaza, Panchsheel Mitra Mandal, where Bakshi was found practicing without proper registration.

Bakshi, who was using both allopathy and Ayurvedic medicines on numerous patients, was operating in violation of Section 33 (1) of the Maharashtra Medical Profession Act, 1961. His illegal practice came to light following a thorough investigation by the Medical Regional Officer of the Warje Karvenagar Regional Office under the Pune Municipal Corporation.

Preventive measures were initiated against Bakshi, highlighting the stringent actions taken by the local authorities to curb such illegal medical practices. On June 3, 2024, a case was officially registered against Ujwal Kumar Sanil Bakshi at the Warje Police Station.

This crackdown was spearheaded by Dr. Suryakant Deokar, Assistant Health Officer, and Dr. Kalpana Baliwant, In-charge Health Officer of the Pune Municipal Corporation. Their efforts ensured that the illegal medical center was shut down, thereby protecting numerous patients from potential harm.

This case serves as a warning to other unregistered practitioners operating in the region. Authorities urge the public to verify the credentials of medical professionals and report any suspicious activities to prevent such unlawful practices.
