Trouble seems to be mounting for the father of the minor accused in the Kalyani Nagar Porsche car crash case, Vishal Agarwal and his grandfather, Surendra Agarwal. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case against five people, including Vedant Agarwal’s father and son, for allegedly abetting the suicide of a builder over financial conflicts. The victim hung himself and ended his life on Jan 9, 2024.

A case has been registered at the Chandannagar police station. According to reports, the 41-year-old builder, a resident of Vadgaon Sheri, ended his life by hanging himself at his residence on January 9. The businessman who committed suicide was identified as Shashikant Dattatray Katore.

The family members of the deceased had alleged that he committed suicide due to debt burden. The 69-year-old victim’s father had filed a complaint with the police on Jan 12, 2024. Based on his complaint, the police registered a case against the accused.

During the investigation, the police found Surendra Kumar Agrawal, Ram Kumar Agrawal, Vishal Agrawal, CEO Ravi Hudlani, and Mukesh Zende involved in the case.

The Chandan Nagar police have registered a case under Sections 306, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against Surendra Agarwal, builder Vishal Agarwal and five others.
