After safety inspections, Maha Metro is expected to receive final certification for the Ruby Hall Clinic to Ramwadi Metro route by next week, so they are revising the current train timetable and scheduling trips up to Ramwadi.

Trains will operate between Vanaz and Ramwadi, the end stations of the corridor, for the first time. Once all necessary authorizations have been obtained, the revised itinerary will be put into effect.

Officials from Maha Metro stated that technical teams are working. On Monday, the Ramwadi stretch was inspected by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) team. According to Maha Metro officials, the CMRS has requested a few small adjustments and enhancements at stations. Within the next few days, Maha Metro intends to deliver a compliance report to CMRS.

Prior to the general elections, which are anticipated to take place in April 2024, the route is supposed to be made accessible to commuters.

According to a senior Maha Metro official, the state government will be notified once the company has received the final go-ahead from the CMRS to operate trains. The government will decide when and how to allow commuters to use the stretch. Maha Metro will maintain every stretch prepared for daily operations.
