Pune: MSEDCL's Bill Payment Centers to Remain Open on June 29 and 30 in Western Maharashtra
Pune, June 28, 2024: To facilitate the payment of current and overdue electricity bills, MSEDCL’s official bill payment centers in Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, and Solapur districts will remain open on Saturday (June 29) and Sunday (June 30), despite being public holidays, during regular office hours.
Due to the non-regular payment of bills despite electricity usage, domestic, commercial, and industrial consumers in Western Maharashtra owe ₹484.20 crores, with 2,035,944 customers in arrears. MSEDCL, facing financial difficulties, has launched a campaign to recover these dues. Therefore, bill payment centers will be open on June 29 and 30 to make it convenient for customers to pay their overdue and current bills.
Electricity consumers can pay their overdue and current bills online at any time from anywhere via the website www.mahadiscom.in or through the MSEDCL mobile app. Additionally, all low-tension consumers with bills exceeding ₹5,000 can pay via RTGS or NEFT. The necessary details for this payment method are available on the respective electricity bills.
