Pune News : 41st Fruits, Flowers and Vegetables Competition and Exhibition to be held on Feb 11 and 12
The 41st Fruits Flowers and Vegetables Competition and Exhibition organized by Pune Municipal Corporation will be held on 11th and 12th February 2023 at Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje Udyan, Jungli Maharaj Road, Shivajinagar, Pune.
The event, which aims to showcase the importance of trees and plants in human life, will feature 218 sections of decorative flower pot arrangements, seasonal and perennial flowers, vegetables, fruits, processed vegetables, and more.
The prize distribution ceremony will take place on 12th February at 5.00 PM. Institutions such as Pune University, Metro, Forest Department, and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will participate in the event.
The exhibition will also feature bonsai, wood sculpture, sustainable items from waste, paper crafts, and a separate gallery for a nature photography exhibition by Rajvardhan Patil. The event is open to the public for free and citizens can purchase garden items from stalls on 11th and 12th February 2023 from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
