Pune News: Tempo Accident Injures 20 Warkaris On Katraj-Kondhwa Road

An incident occurred where a group of Warkaris met with an accident as the tempo overturned, while crossing the Katraj-Kondhwa road, resulting in injuries to about 20 Warkaris. The police have filed a case against the driver, Navnath Lakshman Chopde (residing in Dhar, Parbhani) after the complaint was filed by Prayagbai Narayan Bokhare (age 72) residing in Fukatgaon, District Parbhani. 

According to information provided by the police, during the Palkhi procession, a tempo lost control and collided with the participating Warkaris. This incident occurred on Shiv Shambho Parisar Lane No. 1 on the Katraj-Kondhwa road. The tempo driver failed to control the vehicle, resulting in 20 injuries. 

Concerns have arisen regarding the extent of injuries suffered by Prayagbai, who has injuries to her head, hands and wrists. Senior Police Inspector Dashrath Patil from Bharti University Police Station visited the scene of the incident. The injured workers were promptly admitted to the hospital. Police are currently conducting further investigations into the matter.
