Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has issued clear directives to Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar to take decisive action against illegal constructions associated with drug activities. This move aims to make Pune city drug-free.

Given the alarming increase in drug sales in Pune, Chief Minister Shinde emphasized the need for stringent measures. He instructed the Police Commissioner to enforce strict actions against illegal pubs and drug dealers. Shinde specifically directed that unauthorized constructions linked to drug activities be demolished using bulldozers, ensuring a robust crackdown on the drug trade in the city.
