Moshi: The residents of Moshi, Dudulgaon, and Charoli in the Pimpri Chinchwad were facing severe water problem due to an old, small-diameter pipeline supplying water with low pressure and quantity. However, with the efforts of MLA Mahesh Landge, a new water line has been laid on the Moshi-Alandi BRT Road. The new pipeline will supply approximately 70,000 liters of additional water, clearing the way to resolve the water problem in the area.

This new pipeline has been a relief for the residents of Nakshatra Island Society, who too were facing water scarcity.

The administrative authorities took a positive decision to provide a new pipeline from the New Alandi Road (BRT) Road and the work of the water channel has been completed. The work of providing new taps to the society holders has also started, which will provide relief to around 375 flat owners of Nakshatra Island Society.

“The water supplied earlier to the housing societies from Moshi to Alandi Road was with low pressure, as the pipeline had turned old and the number of housing societies increased. Therefore, a new pipeline has been set up, which will be supplying water from the Ravet Pumping Station,” said Sanjeevan Sangle, Chairman of Chikhali-Moshi Pimpri Chinchwad Cooperative Housing Societies’ Federation.
