Pune: More than 1.35 lakh seats are available for 11th-grade admission under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, which includes around 800 higher secondary schools and junior colleges. This year, over 120,000 students have registered for the process.

Out of the total 160,420 seats available, CAP has allocated 136,511 seats, and 23,909 seats are reserved under various quotas. The admissions process includes seats from several major educational boards, ensuring a wide range of options for students.

Key Dates and Process:

Until June 16, students must fill in Part 1 of the admission form and verify their application through the guidance centers. From June 22 to 25, the provisional merit list will be published, allowing students to make corrections in their applications if necessary. On June 26, the final merit list will be displayed. From June 26 to 29, students can fill out Part 2 of the application form, selecting their preferred colleges and courses. On June 29, the first allocation list for admissions will be announced. Starting July 3, the process for confirming admissions will commence.
